Barotac Viejo, Northern Iloilo – The Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) Barotac Viejo Campus hosted a vibrant Agriculture Week Celebration from May 3 to May 5, 2023. This three-day event gathered students, faculty, farmers, agricultural experts, and local officials to celebrate and promote advancements in agriculture through a series of engaging activities and informative sessions.

Event Highlights:

Day 1: Opening Ceremony and Educational Workshops

The celebration commenced with an energetic opening ceremony featuring speeches from university officials and key figures in the agricultural sector. Their addresses highlighted the importance of agriculture in local development and the role of education in advancing agricultural practices.

Following the opening ceremony, the day was filled with educational workshops covering various aspects of agriculture. Topics included sustainable farming practices, crop management, pest control, and innovative agricultural technologies. Day 2: Exhibits and Field Demonstrations
